Academic University contributes to the launch of the national campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer.

Academic University is contributing to the launch of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, which opened its fifteenth edition in Sabratha on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Zawawi Hall at the National Cancer Institute. The event was attended by a wide range of medical professionals, patients, survivors, and community members. The opening included scientific and awareness lectures on the importance of early detection and the role of proper nutrition and psychological support in prevention and treatment, along with interactive dialogues between specialists and the public. It was also announced that free early detection services will be available at several health facilities in Sabratha, including: the National Cancer Institute, Sabratha Teaching Hospital, Al-Alalqa Complex, the Medical Consultant Center, Al-Masarra Medical City, and the Sabratha Shelter. A therapeutic nutrition clinic will also be allocated at the institute to provide nutritional care to patients. Finally, thanks were extended to the supporting organizations, most notably: the Libyan Federation for Cancer Control, the Sabratha Municipal Council, Anas Pharmacy, Atlas International Pharmaceutical Company, the Libyan Red Crescent, and Sabratha Teaching Hospital. #WithYouWeContinue... and Early Detection Saves Your Life.
